Welcome to Arkö Maritime Training Centre!

Arkö Maritime Training Centre is owned and operated by the Swedish Maritime Administration. The training centre has an unique location on the island of Arkö, in the middle of Östergötland's beautiful archipelago. A 10 minutes' boat trip from Arkösund takes you to the combined training centre and hotel.

Before the training centre and school was established in 1979, the grounds and buildings were used as a pilot station between the years 1878-1968.

Arkö Maritime Training Centre has a lot of to offer, both when it comes to courses, conferences as well as other arrangements.

• All conference rooms are equipped with computer networks, radio simulator and several telephones. 
  
  
• The conference may be combined with maritime safety education.
  
  
• Day conferences for disabled are possible to arrange.
  
  
• Unique possibilities for socialising and recreation. We arrange fishing trips, round trips and excursions by boat to beautiful places in the archipelago.
  
  
• There is a sauna and nice lounges.
  
  
• The cosy rooms are located in the houses earlier roomed the personnel on Arkö pilot station.

All this on a place surrounded by one of the world's most beautiful archipelagos. Arkö Maritime Training Centre welcomes all, private companies, public authorities and organisations.
