  • Anyone encountering a dangerous object – such as mustard gas, ammunition or mines – must not under any circumstances handle it themselves.
  • Contact immediately the Swedish Search and Rescue Centre (JRCC) by radio, VHF channel 16, or SOS Alarm on telephone number 112.
  • Objects suspected of being dangerous must not under any circumstances be taken into a built up area.
  • Fishermen, marine contractors, divers and others operating in areas with a likelihood of encountering chemical weapons are to have suitable first aid cleaning materials on hand. These can be ordered at chemists and drug stores (Apotek).
