16 partners from six countries around the Baltic Sea made up the project that principally aims for an efficient, safe and sustainalbe sea traffic in the Baltic Sea area. Focus is on environmental issues and safe navigation. A big part of the work is to contribute to the development of the concept of e-navigation.
Of the four thematic work packages, the Swedish Maritime Administration took the lead of the part dealing with competence and recruitment challenges in the maritime cluster. We also contributed to the development of e-navigation and dynamic risk analyses.
